Royal Bee Gemstone Pendants in Sterling Silver
These two stunning bee pendants have arrived just in time to pollinate your summer garden! Both feature solid sterling silver bee castings, soldered to 21 gauge sterling silver sheet, which has been sawed out and sanded by hand.
The first bee is adorned with 2 faceted rose-cut carnelian cabs set in serrated bezels on 24 gauge sheet. Between these rests a faceted rose-cut yellow chalcedony cabochon, also set in a serrated bezel on 24 gauge sheet. 18.5" sterling silver rolo chain with lobster clasp closure. The entire piece is oxidized with liver of sulphur and buffed and polished to bring out the highlights of the metal. A 14k gold droplet is soldered at the bottom, and a tiny, smooth golden amber cabochon sits above the bee. A hammered, beaded ring serves as a bail for the pendant. Dimensions are 2 5/8" tall and 1 1/2" wide.
The second bee is also soldered to 21 gauge sterling silver sheet. Above it sits a tiny orange sunstone cab. Below it is a stunning clear deep red garnet, set in a smooth bezel and soldered to a handstamped layer of 24 gauge sterling silver sheet. A small hammered beaded sterling wire circle serves as the bail. The entire piece is oxidized with liver of sulphur and buffed and polished to bring out the highlights of the metal. 18.5" sterling silver rolo chain with lobster clasp closure. The dimensions are 2 3/4" tall and 1" wide.
