This beautiful pale blue stone is not actually a stone at all. It is the slag by-product of iron smelting in the late 1800's in Leland Michigan. It comes in many shades of blue/green and even purple, depending on the amounts of copper present in the material. The pocks and white patches of quartz are characteristic. Set in a hand fabricated setting on a size 6.5 double ring band.
