Bees in a Mason Jar Pendant in Copper
When you were young, did you ever catch bees in mason jars, so as to observe them briefly and then let them free? No? Ok, I guess I'm a weirdo.
Pendant made with a copper mason jar blank , hammered, textured and oxidized to bring out the details of the jar, lid, and tiny bees within. One tiny sterling silver bee stands at the forefront, soldered to the jar, and giving a three dimensional edge to the necklace. Pendant measures 1.10" by .67". Hangs from an 18" gunmetal brass ball chain and finished with a lobster clasp closure.
