Kaleidoscope Stone Hex Pendants in Sterling Silver
These magical hexagon cabs are called kaleidoscope stone. They are very colorful stones dominated by purple fluorite, mixed with chrysocolla, malachite and azurite. Some specimens have brights shocks of blue, some more purple, but always have a sparkly, icy appearance that is stunning.
I've set both in hand fabricated sterling silver settings, with serrated-edge bezels. The larger hex is set on a double layer of handstamped sterling silver sheet, with a decorative hand stamped corner covering the top edge. The smaller is set on a single layer of hand stamped sterling silver sheet, and adorned with a stamped "halo" of golden brass.
Each piece has been oxidized in liver of sulphur and polished to bring out the highlights. 18" oxidized rolo chain, finished with a lobster clasp closure.
