Moon Goddess Pendant with Super Seven & Rainbow Moonstone in Sterling Silver
A beautiful specimen of Super Seven is the focal of this pendant. Super Seven, also known as Melody Stone or Sacred Stone, is an extremely rare mineral with seven crystals in one. The crystals are amethyst, Cacoxenite, goethite, Lepidocrocite, rutile, smoky quartz, and quartz (which all the minerals are usually naturally encased in). I've set the stone in sterling silver with an open back, so light can illuminate the lovely shades of purple and the rutiles of gold and feathery white quartz. Above it is a carved rainbow moonstone moon face, which seems to glow from within. The face is set in a serrated sterling bezel on a double layer of sterling silver sheet. Hand-stamped flourishes adorn each side of the moon. Hung from an 18.5" oxidized sterling silver rolo chain with lobster clasp closure. The entire piece is oxidized with liver of sulphur & polished to accentuate the highlights and bring dimension to the piece.
