Longjing Chinese Tea Tin Earrings with Brushed Brass
These earrings began their life as a Gong Brand🐉Longjing tea tin. Longjing tea is a high quality (and expensive) green tea from the Chinese province of Hangzhou, Zhejiang. The literal translation of the name is "Dragon Well Tea." 🐉🐉🐉
The tin was blue, with red and green Chinese lettering. The red has faded over time, so it is more pink in hue. I've captured the symbols within a brushed brass teardrop shape "portal" and riveted the pieces together. A tiny pink faceted glass bead dangles beneath. 2 1/2" long and very lightweight!
PLEASE NOTE: Because these pieces are made from vintage tins, the metal surface may be uneven and/or have imperfections, tiny dings or scratches. To me, this is part of the piece's history. Please look carefully at the photos before purchasing so you know what imperfections exist, & so you are happy with your purchase!
