Luna Lacuna Greyscale Collection in Sterling Silver
These gorgeous stones are called Luna Lacuna (I keep singing Hakuna Matata in my head.) It is mined in and near the famous Hubei turquoise mines in China, but it is not turquoise. These have an amazing snakeskin-like texture with neutral greyscale colors.
Set in sterling silver smooth bezels on two layers of textured sterling silver sheet. Styles #1 & #3 each have asymmetrically placed 14K gold dots on one side. Style #2 is circled with sterling silver braided wire.
Each hang from 17.5" sterling silver rolo chain with lobster clasp closure.
Everything is made by hand in sterling silver. The birds have stampings of holly branches have been created in sterling sheet and sawed out by hand. All pieces have been oxidized in liver of sulphur and polished to shine.
