Both of these gorgeous pendants were designed with a freeform circular focal made by pressing fine silver sheet into an impression plate, using a hydraulic press. (Check out my reel on Instagram if you'd like to see how I make it.) This impression die has a very tribal, ethnic mandala pattern of feathers. Both mandalas are soldered to a backplate of sterling silver sheet, patterned with gingko leaves. All silver elements of these pendants have been darkened in liver of sulphur and then polished to bring out the highlights of the metal. Each pendant hangs from a long, 24" sterling silver chain, finished with a lobster clasp closure.

The first pendant has blue glass & green onyx charms with vintage bead caps made by the Hill Tribes in Thailand. It also has a charm at the top and a vintage granulated silver bead that were made in Bali, Indonesia. There are also 4 "bells" I created with an impression die and recycled sterling silver sheet in my hydraulic press.

The second pendant has a faceted green onyx briolette bead that I've wrapped with 18 gauge sterling silver wire. There are 2 large vintage granulated silver Bali bead charms, and another small vintage Bali bead paired with chrysoprase near the top of the pendant. Five striped African glass trade beads have also been made in to charms.
