The Woodland Collection - Ombré Ginkgo Leaf Earrings in Sterling Silver

New for Autumn 2020, the Woodland collection features handcrafted one-of-a-kind sterling silver jewelry inspired by terrariums & the forest floor.  You'll find clear domed resin cabochons filled with moss bark & lichen, cast sterling silver twigs, leaves, toadstools, seeds & pinecones. Acorns & gingko leaves are sawed and stamped by hand. There are golden brass fallen leaves, semiprecious gemstones, insect wings & more!

Double layer gingko leaf earrings cut by hand from 24 gauge sterling silver sheet.  Each leaf is hammered with a texturing hammer. The smaller, top leaf has a tiny pyrite cab set in a sterling bezel, and the leaf has been blackened and partially sanded to create an ombré effect.  Handmade 18 gauge sterling silver ear wires. 1 3/4" long.  Widest leaf is 7/8". All silver has been oxidized in liver of sulphur, burnished & hardened in a tumbler, & then polished by hand to bring out shine & the highlights of the silver.
